Fundraising
I have set myself a target of £4,200.
This corresponds to £1 for each metre of altitude at the highest point on the trek (Abra de Huarmihuanusca or “Dead Woman’s pass") at 4,200m or 13,800 ft and over 3 times the height of Ben Nevis!.
- It costs more than £4000 for Bobath to provide a six-week block of therapy to each child.
- Only around 30% of Bobath Scotland’s income is generated by NHS fees.
- Every year Bobath Scotland has to raise at least £500,000 in voluntary income to fund their services.
- Bobath makes an incredible difference to so many families.
- In our own case Bobath has helped us to expand our hopes for James’ development and made a real difference to our everyday life.
- Bobath is an extremely worthy cause for your donations.
- I'm funding the cost of the trip myself, so every penny you donate will go directly to Bobath.
I will be running a number of fundraising ideas over the coming year, details of which will be posted on this site.
